2014 Exit poll results

As the curtains fall over the ninth phase of polling this general elections the 2014 exit poll results have begun ti trickle in. And the verdict seems to be in favour of the BJP.

Times Now exit poll predicted the BJP to emerge winner in Bihar by grabbing 28 seats out of 40 in the state. However, the ABP News exit poll predicts 19 seats for BJP, 2 seats to LJP, 10 seats to RJD, 4 to Congress and 5 to JD(U) in Bihar.

In Odisha, Congress is expected to win 5 seats, compared to the 6 seats it got in 2009, according to the Times Now exit poll result.

The exit poll predicts a BJP's surge in Assam. According to Times Now, BJP is likely to win 8 out of 14 seats in the state. However in neighbouring Meghalaya the exit poll predicts the Congress to win 2 out of 2 seats.

CVoter exit poll has revealed that in Rajasthan BJP is likely to get 22 seats, while Congress would win 2 seats. And in Delhi BJP will make a clean sweep by winning all the 7 seats, according to CVoter.

In Madhya Pradesh, the Cvoter predicts BJP to get 26 seats, while its rival Congress will get 3 seats.

In Gujarat the BJP will sweep, according to the CVoter exit poll results. BJP is likely to get 22 seats, while the Congress 4.

Times Now exit poll gives BJP 7 seats, Congress 6 and JBSP 1 in Jharkhand.

In West Bengal Times Now exit poll gives Trinamool Congress 20 seats, Left 15 seats, Congress 5 seats, BJP 2 seats.
