Varun Dhawan got drunk for a scene

Varun Dhawan got drunk for a scene

Actor Varun Dhawan believes in method acting for his films. While veteran actors like Naseeruddin Shah preach method acting Varun believes in practising it.

The "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" star actually drank alcohol for a particular shot to look genuinely sloshed. Varun took alcohol for two crucial shots in Shashank Khaitan's "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania".

Varun Dhawan was introduced to the pleasures of method acting by director Sriram Raghavan. introduced.

The actor has been off alcohol for some time, so the sudden shots of alcohol hit him hard. A source tells us that Varun had to be physically supported by the film's crew members as he unsteady on his feet.

Varun says he finished filming the first half of the film as a normal person. And when the climax of "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" was to be shot the directer wanted him to look genuinely drunk. That probably explains why Humpty appeared to be a little more intense than he would appear otherwise.

The drink went straight to the actor's head.

The "Student of the Year" star says that for the climax scene he had to look drunk. It particular sequence was shot at 4 am. Varun says he took the risk of actually consuming alcohol for the shot. Since he didn't have alcohol for a while the alcohol hit him straight. So he was actually drunk when the shot was taken, said Varun.

Getting drunk was actually scary as he lost control over his body movements, says Varun. The scene was with Ashutosh Rana staring at him with his large intimidating eyes. However, the scene is precious to Varun Dhavwan.

Did aliens visit India 10,000 years ago?

Did aliens visit India 10,000 years ago?

Archaeologists in India have been stumped by the discovery of 10,000 year-old cave paintings depicting aliens and UFOs in Bastar region of the country. Now the question in everyone's mind is whether the paintings are indeed of aliens.

If the paintings are of aliens and UFOs, then the next questions is did the pre-historic people in this region actually see the extra-terrestrial beings or it was a fiction of their imagination. There are lots of possibilities and varied answers to these paintings.

The Archaeology Department of Chhattisgarh has got in touch with NASA and ISRO for further research on the 10,000-year-old rock paintings at Charama, in Kanker.

Archaeologist JR Bhagat, reportedly said the paintings have depicted beings that look like aliens.

Bhagat opines that the paintings suggest that pre-historic people could have either seen or imagined the extra-terrestrial beings. The rock paintings have generated immense curiosity among researchers and people. Before any conclusions are drawn the findings have to be further researched. At present Chhattisgarh doesn't have any such expert to give a clear opinion on the subject, added Bhagat.

The local villagers have several beliefs about these paintings, according to reports. There are some people who worship the paintings. While there are others who tell about stories they have heard from ancestors about "rohela people"( the small sized ones ). The stories suggest that the rohela people landed from the sky in a round shaped flying object. Every time they visited they would take away one or two villagers who were never seen again.

The cave paintings in Bastar are done in natural colours and have not faded inspite of the years. The depicted paintings have strange carved figures, who are holding weapon-like objects and with no clear features. The figures have no mouth or nose. Some of the pictures even show them wearing space suits.

The pictures also have fan-like antenna and three legs of vehicle's stand, bearing close resemblance to UFO-like aircraft, according to the archaeologist (quoted in Times of India).
