Avika Gor Uyyala Jampala Movie Review and Rating
Vuyyala Jampala is a movie with rural background. Off late our producers have forgotten the village life as the movies are racing with high budgets, foreign locales and modern life style. Similarly the audience also has started accepting rich locales and costly sets with modern way of life. It is a challenge at present to attempt to tell a story of rural lovers shooting with rural background. Akkineni Nagarju, D Suresh Babu and Ram Mohan produced the movie jointly introducing new faces Raj Tarun and Avika Gor to the cinema although Avika is a known and loved actress to the TV serial viewers.

Story

Raj Tarun (Soori) and Avika (Uma Devi) are born and grown in the same village. They are related to each other the way Telugu people accept the romantic relationship of Bava-Maradalu. Although they like each other unknowingly, they fight with each other. The incidents lead them to understand that they are actually in love with each other and cannot live without each other’s companionship.

Analysis :

It is a simple and straight story told in an appealing way. Director Virinchi Varma used all his talent to make it a good movie. Cinematography is marvelous. The technicians or the actors did not perform like in a low budget movie. Their efforts are seen in all frames of the movie. Dialogues and music are impressive. The pace of the movie is well maintained except in the second half at a point or two.

Performance :

Raj Tarun and Avika acted very well in their roles. Their excellent performance is the asset for the movie and enthralling to watch. The romantic entertainer ‘Vuyyala Jampala’ is a feel good movie to watch in a relaxed mood thoroughly enjoying it as the comedy part of it also is made suitably well to match with the story and incidents.

Final Word:

It is a good movie to watch. It is not filled with routine stuff of a commercial movie but it makes one to feel good to watch it. It gives a feeling of living in an unpolluted world.

Indias tallest Christmas tree enters Guinness Book of World Records

India's tallest Christmas tree enters Guinness Book of World Records

Lavishly decked up with gleaming fairy lights, shiny balls, tinkling bells streamers, crosses and cotton snowmen, here is one Christmas tree that stands out and stands tallest in the country.

At a mind blowing height of 56 feet (same as a five-storeyed building), the Pine Conifer stands as the tallest Christmas tree in India. It has entered the record books as India's tallest, fully decorated, natural growing Christmas Tree in Adarsh Nagar, a private society in Worli, south-central Mumbai.

"I have been nurturing it the past 40 years. Earlier, my sister Twila used to help me out, but after her death in June 2005, I have been doing it," said a proud Douglas Saldanha, the owner of the tallest Christmas Tree.

The Saldanhas' acquired the five feet tree then for a paltry sum of Rs.250 from one of their neighbors way back. “This was peanuts considering Christmas Trees cost heavily in the markets," Saldanha said, pointing towards the the tree growing straight to the skies, with the lowest branches spreading out to around 10 feet.

Meanwhile, the 18th Bradesco Seguros Christmas Tree - the world’s largest floating Christmas tree, according to the Guinness Book of Records in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is attracting throng of tourists.
Weighing 542 tons and is 85 meters high, the tree equivalent to the size of a 28-story building, is one illuminated megastructure, brightened up with 3.1 million tiny lights, 120,000 meters of luminous tubing and 100 LED reflectors.

Story

Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom:3 has been creating a lot of curiosity about its plot. There's a lot of buzz regarding the storyline. The makers of the movie have intentionally kept the plot a secret to increase audience curiosity. But the plot leaked on an enertainment website. Here is a peek view into what the much talked about 'Dhoom:3' is all about.

The story begins with Sahir(Aamir Khan) learning the tricks of the trade, in a circus company, from his father(Jackie Shroff). Sahir's father gets murdered or killed and he vows to take revenge. The film takes a time-leap soon after and Aamir Khan takes over at the circus. He has the gorgeous and beautiful Aaliya (Katrina Kaif) as his co-star. Sahir believes that the circus owners are responsible for his father's death and is determined to rob them off their money. Two of his attempts are successful after which ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) enters the scene along with his assistant Ali (Uday Chopra). The main task of the duo is to catch the master robber red handed.

ACP Dixit is aware that Sahir is the robber, but he can't arrest the master robber for lack of proof. So they set-up a trap for Sahir and the action begins with bike chases. The question is, will Sahir be caught red handed (like John Abraham in Dhoom) or would be allowed a chance to begin life afresh (like Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2). What would happen at the end? Find out for yourself at the theatres on Friday.
